Taking the ferry back from Juneau saw many humpbacks on the north end of Zarembo Island, south end of Mitkof Island, and western shore of Wrangell Island. Closer to Ketchikan, we saw several humpbacks near Grindall Island, then the Guard Islands.
No pics, didn't have the telephoto.
A few humpbacks out by the Guard Islands just off north shore of Gravina. They were lingering in this area for quite a while, going up and down the eastern shore of Gravina. No pics. Need a telephoto.
Spotted a solo humpback from shore travelling slowly from Rotary Beach out to Mountain Point. As it got closer to shore, we could clearly identify that it was doing some sort of solo bubble feeding. There was a clear ring of bubbles, then a lone humpback surfacing in the center.

Saw humpbacks travelling northwest from South Point Higgins into Clover Passage, around Pup Island, then back out Clover Passage. It appeared to be a group of three, bubble net feeding over and over again as they made 2-3mph progress NW into Clover.
