A humpback was observed in Auke Bay. The whale surfaced and dove in front of me. I was able to get a photo of its fluke; however, when the whale dove its fluke did not come very far out of the water. Therefore, I am unable to determine if it is the same whale I identified on February 18, 2017 (#1443, aka Dot Spot.) I think it might be?
