It took 35 miles and four hours before we spotted a lone humpback at Reef Point. It was coming up for air for 4-5 breaths before diving. Typical pattern was the whale coming up for 2-3 breaths, then it would change direction, take another breath or two, then dive. It was definitely lingering in a 1/4 mile area around Reef Point. Pics were after sunset, had to push the ISO to 1600, so they are grainy and a bit blurry due to the low light.
