Breaking in the new motor spotted a a few different humpbacks in Clover Passage. First sighting near Second Waterfall heading towards Knudson Cove. It was covering big distances between surfacing and hard to spot. It lingered around the opening of Knudson Cove, then proceeded a bit more slowly, surfacing more often as it headed out into the Clarence Strait along Clover Pass Marina.

After this sighting, we headed up to Naha Bay and saw another fast moving whale heading out southwest along the bank of Betton Island. Again, this whale was elusive, and hard to spot as it just wasn't coming to the surface very much.
