Today we watched a lone humpback moving around slowly in front of our house at the south end of Pennock Island as it traveled SE through the channel. It was out in open water for a bit, then swam into shore, coming VERY close to shore before heading SE again. Approximately a few hours later, it was observed in the same location again, south of Pennock Island. Too far out to get a good fluke shot with our 300mm lens, then no flukes when near shore.
