It is hard to describe the scene at our rivers and creeks right now. The chum salmon arrived a few weeks ago and a feeding frenzy began. The gulls wait in the rivers for the salmon to lay their eggs. As soon as the eggs are laid, the gulls swoop down and snatch them out of the rivers. It seems as though everything feeds on salmon.
