I took these photos of a pair of yearling marmots in late May.  I caught them as they were engaged in an intense wrestling match.  It was so much fun to watch.    

Photos were taken in low light.  

I was walking on the beach near sheep creek and happened to spot a beaver trying to swim up the creek.  It was low tide so there was not much water in the creek.  I am not sure what it was doing in such a shallow creek that is so close to the ocean.  I was quite surprised.  

We also spotted a sea otter near point retreat while we were out on our boat.  We have never seen sea otters so close to Juneau.
