Two humpbacks from deck

We spent the entire day on our boat and did not see a single whale, but 20 minutes after arriving home two humpbacks were observed right in front of our house, swimming very close to shore.  One of the whales slapped its pectoral fins several times and then they both dove.  Several minutes later one breached just slightly north of our house.  The whales then appeared to split up, with one continuing north while the other headed south.  I missed getting a photo of the breach.
